Halloween Card 2021: 

"Candy Moon"

This was the first time I made more than a few cards at a time (36 cards were made). WOW! This was, also, the first time I tried my hand at blending ink. The tips of my fingers were so orange, it looked like I had been eating Cheetos all day. A lot of first with this card: blending ink, using shaker domes, designing the card to pull out the moon with it's candy treat, and using embossing powder (tree). Imagine making 36 of these cards with all their new techniques. CRAZY!

Winner: Craft challenge - Binder Clip Rethink/Reuse

Binder clips.... Craft challenge: rethink/reuse binder clips. Now that is a tuffy. I decided it had to be a metal structure of some kind. I present to you the "Divasaurus". Jewelry wire is manipulated around the parts to give it strength to stand. 

No, your eyes are not deceiving you, that is a staple remover for the head. It was an obvious choice due to the prongs looking like razor-sharp teeth. Painted with white paint and vibrant metallic paints and googly eyes. 

It's not a a true Divasaurus without handbags. As with most of the binder clips in the structure, the metal clips have been removed so as to add proper handles to the purses. Handles were ponytail holders for hair. Then they were embellished with scrap paper and small embellishments. 

After a hard day of shopping, the only thing left to say is ROARRRR.
